About Amy!
Amy Friedlander is a singer, actor, dancer from Atlanta, Georgia, now resides in New York City after receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Memphis. You would have seen Amy pre-covid in the sold out run of the regional premiere of the smash broadway hit Kinky Boots in Memphis, Tennessee, or in the New York City Center's Masterclass Series with Ali Stroker where she was hand picked by Ali to work with her! As well, she studied with the American Theatre Wing with at their SpringboardNYC summer intensive where she got to work with incredible mentors like Cynthia Erivo, Jermey Pope, Patti LuPone, Jason Michael Webb and more!
Her most recent roles include being in the fabulous ensemble of the regional premiere of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, originating the role of Jane Doe in the world premiere play Shaming Jane Doe, Justice Charlier (Rock of Ages), Saraghina/Maddalena (NINE the musical), Titania (A Midsummer Night Dream), and Nemasani (Anon(ymous)). She has worked in theatres in Memphis, Atlanta, and Brownsville Texas.
In her free time, she works as a professional makeup artist, she loves to play piano, work with children teaching theatre and music, and also works as a certified makeup artist.
